Compliance & AML Framework

WellCore is built on a foundation of strict regulatory adherence. Learn about our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and law enforcement collaboration.

1. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

WellCore strictly prohibits and actively prevents money laundering and any activity that facilitates money laundering or the funding of terrorist or criminal activities. We utilize proprietary blockchain analysis tools to monitor on-chain deposits and withdrawals. Funds originating from mixing services, darknet markets, or sanctioned addresses are automatically quarantined.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC)

To utilize fiat-on-ramps, P2P services, or to request a physical Metal Card, users must pass strict Identity Verification. Our KYC tiered system determines trading and withdrawal limits:

  • Level 1 (Basic): Requires verified email and Web3 Wallet signature. Crypto-to-crypto trading only. Withdrawal limits strictly enforced.
  • Level 2 (Verified): Requires Government-issued ID and facial liveness check. Unlocks P2P Fiat trading and higher withdrawal limits.
  • Level 3 (Pro): Requires Proof of Address and Source of Wealth declaration. Unlimited trading volumes.

3. Sanctions & Embargoes

WellCore complies with global sanctions lists, including the US OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control), the UN Security Council, and the EU Consolidated List. Users residing in comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions (e.g., North Korea, Iran, Syria, Crimea) are strictly prohibited from opening accounts.

4. Law Enforcement Requests

WellCore cooperates fully with international and local law enforcement agencies. We process valid subpoenas, court orders, and freeze requests promptly. For official inquiries, authorized law enforcement agents can contact our compliance division directly at compliance@wellcore.com.
